We are looking forward to spending time with friends and family this upcoming Saturday as we open up our Holiday Cook Books and put on our favorite aprons.
I have been pouring over the delicious recipes in my Southern Living Magazines from November and December. I am drooling over their Mocha Espresso Cream Pie and Apple Slab Pie in their November issue. And I have been trying to figure out if I have the courage to try and make their December featured Red Velvet White Chocolate Cheesecake.
My friend Maureen Cadenhead in Texas sent me the cutest Thanksgiving gift idea: Blessing Mix!
To create the finished product you need:
Bugles corn snacks
Nuts or seeds
tulle, ribbon, or raffia
Paper trimmer or scissors to cut out tags
When was the last time you made a paper chain? We decided we wanted to try different sizes this year. So we made some really cute tiny chains to flow gently from our mantle and some larger chains to drape around the bottom of our Christmas Tree.
What are some holiday traditions you and your family enjoy doing together during the holidays?
