Fuquay-Varina Fire Department – Annual Holiday Food Drive Kicks Off
Join the Fuquay-Varina Fire Department in helping to feed the hungry in Fuquay-Varina this holiday season!
The holidays can be a tough time for some of our neighbors but we can help those that are struggling to put food on the table. Now through December 16, the Fuquay-Varina Fire Department is collecting nonperishable food items for the Fuquay-Varina Emergency Food Bank. Donations will be used to feed local families in Fuquay-Varina, Willow Springs and Holly Springs during the holiday season and this coming winter.
Any non-perishable item will be accepted, but the following foods are in critical need during the holiday season: canned fruits, vegetables, tuna, meats; spaghetti sauce and soups; cereal, crackers, peanut butter and jelly; macaroni and cheese, and staples such as beans, rice pasta, stuffing and dry foods, bagged or boxed. Cash donations will also be accepted and given to the Emergency Food Bank to purchase perishable food items.
Thank you for your generosity in helping our community. Drop your donation at any Fuquay-Varina Fire Stations or Town Hall from November 1 – December 16.
The Food Pantry has Christmas Cards in honor of people you love! Let people know you helped feed your community in THEIR honor.
