Teen Day Fuquay will be held on Saturday, May 10 at South Park from 11 am – 4 pm.
Teen Day Fuquay, an alcohol and distracted driving awareness program sponsored by the Fuquay-Varina Police Department, offers young people the opportunity to experience the realities of mixing alcohol and texting with driving in a controlled situation and to see the impact of drunk driving on real families by watching a simulated rescue. The goal is for pre-teens and teens to gain hands-on experience and learn the facts on May 10 that will help them make wiser choices about driving and keep their lives full of endless possibilities.
Teens, ages 11-18, should plan to attend Teen Day Fuquay on Saturday, May 10 at the F-V Community Center from 11 am – 4 pm. The first 300 teens to successfully complete the Drive Wise Course will receive a free t-shirt. Everything is free. Pizza served at lunch. Prizes!!
