We are very excited about the cool weather that Hurricane Matthew has helped to usher into our southern community of Fuquay-Varina.
The trees are starting to change colors and it was finally cool enough today to have our first fire! I love the smell of a wood burning fireplace. The crackling of the embers and the swirls of smoke escaping from the chimney.
We are thankful our home has not sustained damage from Hurricane Matthew and our backyard is still in good condition for the Fall Garden Party fundraiser being hosted by our local Fuquay-Varina Woman’s Club.
We are excited to begin decorating for halloween the day after the Fall Garden Party fundraiser. I often wonder if Brean and I or the neighborhood children are more excited about getting dressed up and eating yummy candy!
We are really looking forward to another beautiful fall here in Fuquay-Varina.
